This time I want to share a tutorial on setting the static and dynamic internet connection in Mikrotik via LAN, Reset Configuration, active and non-active interfaces
Tujuan
(Purpose)
(Step by Step)
Reset configuration the mikrotik
Reset configuration and then no default configuration
Then the Mikrotik want to reboot
Connect the mikrotik with mac address
New terminal
Look existing the interface mikrotik
Set name ether1 to public
Set name ether2 to local
Print the interface
Try Disable the interface
Look this
The interface has been disable
If you want to GUI step
Choose left tab menus
and click interfaces
As follows
Enable the wlan interface
Enable the ether3
Try make a vlan interface if you to connect the Mikrotik Router to Cisco Switch (i'm not to explained more)
the vlan id must the number up the 100, because the cisco switch only read the vlan up number 100
Try again with the vlan number other.
If you look via GUI
as follows
Remove the vlan
only click the vlan then click "-" symbol min
As follows
Interface ethernet print
Set ether3 , 4 , 5 as masterport local
Create Ip address for the public and local interface
if you look the interface created
click the ip tab menus then click addresses
As follows
Add ip route with gateway (ip gateway server) then destination address 0.0.0.0/0
Set IP DNS then allow remote request this DNS
Test Ping to gateway IP
Ping Google.com
IP dhcp client for the public interface
set default route
use-peer-dns = yes
use-peer-ntp = yes
Enable the IP DHCP client
Look the ip dhcp client
syintax below
If you want to look the ip dhcp client
as follows
As follows
IP address print to look your ip address
Setting the ip address client
Create ip firewall nat with chain srcnat then out interface public
and then action masquerade
Your Mikrotik has been connected with Client and internet..
